Amazon Prime Air Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami Airport, Five Killed

Miami, September 07, 2026 [VoM News]: At least five people have lost their lives, after an Amazon Prime Air cargo plane overran a runway and got crashed.

The incident took place while landing at Miami International Airport on Sunday, according to local officials, Reuters reported.

VoM News has learnt that Prime Air Flight 7598, which had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, went beyond the end of a diagonal runway shortly before 2 p.m. EDT and hit several vehicles on the ground, resulting in injuries to five people were injured, including three who were in critical condition.

Whereas, as per Reuters report, two people were reportedly trapped inside vehicles struck by the aircraft, while the pilot and co-pilot were trapped inside the plane following the crash. Authorities had not released the identities of those who died.

Meanwhile, the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the crash.

A team has been constituted led by NTSB Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy is expected to provide an initial briefing in Miami on Monday.
