SSP Doda Reviews Crime in PCR Doda

In order to review crime position and other allied matters, today on 13th of May 2024, Shri Javaid Iqbal-JKPS, SSP Doda, chaired a Crime review meeting in PCR Doda which was attended by supervisory officer,SHO ,IC PPs and IOs of Police Station Doda.

A threadbare discussion was held with supervisory officers,SHO,IC PPs and investigating officers on crime and other allied matters which includes discussion on under investigation cases of current year alongwith backlog cases of PS Doda.

While reviewing crime, SSP Doda emphasized upon the officers to ensure quality investigation and timely production of chargesheet in the court of Law so that justice is delivered to the crime victims. SSP Doda directed the officers to make all out efforts to expedite the investigation and minimize the crime pendency to achieve the desired targets set by the Sr functionaries. They were also stressed upon to launch special drive against the drug peddlers and ascertain their backward/forward channels to break the network and book main suppliers of the drugs so that drug menace is rooted out from the District.

Supervisory officers /SHOs were also directed to launch special drive for the arrest of absconders, tracing out of missing, review of history sheeters, surveillance and keeping hawk eye on suspects,anti-social elements , sleeper cells besides taking stringent action against traffic violators for indulging in overloading, over speeding, rash driving and other traffic violations and action under COTPA as well.

SSP Doda also emphasized upon the officers to take preventive action against miscreants, trouble creators, activate Nakas besides establishing of random Nakas/MVCPs and surprise checking /frisking for efficient surveillance on ground.
