Sh. Sandeep Kumar Mehta-JKPS assumed charge as the Sr. Superintendent of Police Doda. The new incumbent officer was warmly received by Senior Police officers at the District Police Headquarters, where a guard of honour was presented in his honor.
The outgoing SSP, Sh. Mohd Aslam-IPS, handed over the baton to the new SSP Doda in a brief and impressive function organized at District Hqrs.

Upon assuming the charge, SSP Doda held an introductory meeting with Police officers at Conference Hall DPL Doda. The meeting was attended by all Supervisory officers, SHOs and IC PPs of District Doda.The officer’s appraised the SSP about the security situation, crime position and other allied things of their area of responsibility.

SSP Doda while addressing the officers emphasized the importance of dedication and enthusiasm in addressing the problems faced by the people of Doda. The new SSP stressed upon the need for teamwork and directed every officer to maintain open communication, keeping their doors always open for the general public to easily reach out with their concerns.

SSP Doda directed the officers to work with firm commitment to public service and bring a vision for collaborative efforts to enhance the safety and well-being of the people of Doda.

The officers were also directed to adopt a pro-active approach to pre-empt the situation and maintain law and order at any cost so that peaceful atmosphere may not get disturbed.
