Salman-Khan Shines at Joy-Awards in Riyadh: Receives Honors, Presents Award, and Discusses ‘Tiger 3’ Success
Salman Khan was recently honored at the Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia, held in Riyadh on Saturday. The renowned Indian actor, who attended the event as a special guest for the second time, shared the spotlight with fellow Indian celebrity Alia Bhatt. Dignitaries extended an invitation to Khan to be part of the prestigious occasion, where he graced the red carpet alongside Hannibal actor Anthony Hopkins and also took the stage to present an award.
Dressed in a violet-grey suit paired with a lavender shirt, Salman Khan sported a distinctive moustache and beard, adding to his charismatic appearance. During the ceremony, he presented an award to a senior Egyptian actor, showcasing his continued involvement and recognition in the international entertainment scene. Notably, Khan had previously been honored with the Personality of the Year award at the same event in 2022.
Discussing his recent cinematic endeavors, Salman Khan’s latest film, “Tiger 3,” was released on Diwali and achieved significant success with a worldwide gross of ₹466.63 crore. The film, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, recently became available on Prime Video. Reflecting on the positive response, Salman expressed his gratitude, stating, “The Tiger franchise has received unanimous love, and it’s amazing to see how the third installment, ‘Tiger 3,’ has been embraced both in theaters and now on streaming platforms.”
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, “Tiger 3” also features Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo and Hrithik Roshan in a post-credits scene, adding star power to the action-packed film.
In addition to his film projects, Salman Khan is currently hosting the reality show “Bigg Boss 17” on weekends, maintaining close contact with his audience. Fans can anticipate seeing him in the upcoming film titled “The Bull,” backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Vishnu Vardhan of “Shershaah” fame. In this film, Salman will portray Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, known for leading Operation Cactus in the Maldives in 1988.
