The residents of Marmat’s Rachoo area expresses resentment over the callous attitude of the Jal Shakti department, for failing to provide the adequate potable water supply in the area.
In a video statement, a resident said, that since five days, we have been deprived of water supply. Due to which, we are facing water scarcity for daily routine.
Resident blamed Jal Shakti department Doda, for not providing attention towards the public issue. A resident, in a video further added, “there are two Jal Shakti dailywagers in our area, but they not gave attention towards us”.
As it is pertinent to mention here, a water tank/reservoir was built during last decade, which remain still in issues and not made available for masses. And a second, reservoir, is also not delivering adequate supply of water.
The residents of the said area have appealed to district Administration Doda and jal Shakti department to take immediate notice of this issue, else we will forced to stage a protest at District Headquarter Doda.
