Anirudhsinh had alleged that Rivaba caused discord within the family, stating that Ravindra had ceased communication with his father and sister after their marriage. He also revealed that he lived alone in a modest 2BKH flat in the same city as the Indian cricket all-rounder, relying solely on his late wife’s ₹20,000 pension to cover his expenses. Furthermore, Anirudhsinh implied that Rivaba had gradually gained control over Ravindra’s assets and properties after their marriage.

When questioned about her father-in-law’s statements at a public event, Rivaba, a BJP MLA, appeared visibly upset. She urged the reporter to approach her directly instead of discussing such matters in a public setting.
