Poco, the Xiaomi sub-brand, introduced the Poco C65 globally on November 5. This new smartphone succeeds the Poco C55, which was launched in February earlier this year. While the Poco C65 retains the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery from its predecessor, it offers upgraded RAM, storage, and charging capabilities, as well as improved camera specifications. The Poco C65 is now available for purchase in the US, with details regarding its India launch yet to be disclosed.

Pricing and Variants

The Poco C65 is offered in two storage variants: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, priced at $129 (approximately Rs. 10,700), and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, listed at $149 (around Rs. 12,400). Early bird options are available at $109 (roughly Rs. 9,100) and $129 (approximately Rs. 10,700) for the respective variants. The phone comes in three attractive color options: Black, Blue, and Purple.

Enhanced Specifications and Features

The Poco C65 features a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20.6:9, offering a smooth viewing experience. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. This smartphone runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 for Poco, providing an updated and user-friendly interface. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, similar to the Poco C55, it also boasts an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. Users can enjoy up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage, expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

Camera and Battery Upgrades

The Poco C65 offers an enhanced camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor featuring an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens and an aperture of f/2.4. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8-megapixel front camera housed in a centre-aligned waterdrop notch. To keep you going all day, it comes with a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 18W wired fast charging via a micro USB port. The phone also provides connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and GLONASS, along with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio support. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor ensures your data remains secure.
