PM Modi Urges Youth to Shape India’s Future Through Votes and Highlights Achievements in Democracy Address
Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the significance of each vote in a democracy, urging young voters to shape India’s direction as it aspires to become a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. Speaking at the ‘Namo Navmatdata Sammelan’ through video conferencing, PM Modi emphasized that the nation’s progress in space, defense, manufacturing, technology, and innovation relies on the youth. Stressing the impact of their votes, he asserted that the outcome would determine the country’s speed, direction, and approach.
PM Modi underscored that a stable government facilitates major decisions and urged voters to contribute to making India the world’s third-largest economy through their votes. He credited the majority government for resolving longstanding issues, such as the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and the implementation of ‘One Rank One Pension.’ Highlighting environmental initiatives, he mentioned Indian Railways’ goal of zero carbon emissions by 2030 and a net-zero target by 2070.
Expressing his commitment to youth empowerment, PM Modi detailed measures like the startup policy and ‘Mudra Yojana’ to facilitate loans without guarantees. He urged voters to reject nepotism and defeat parties that perpetuate it, considering it a hindrance to youth progress. In closing, he reiterated his dedication to fulfilling the dreams of the youth and creating opportunities for them.
