PM-Modi Predicts BJP Victory with 370-Seats in Lok Sabha Elections Following Article 370 Abrogation
Addressing the scrapping of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Modi asserted on Monday that the BJP is poised to secure a minimum of 370 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with the NDA surpassing the 400-seat mark.
While delivering his response to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address in the Lok Sabha, PM Modi, as reported by KNS, expressed confidence in the nation’s sentiment, predicting that the NDA would garner over 400 seats and the BJP at least 370 seats in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls scheduled for April-May next year. The BJP is aiming for a third consecutive term.
Taking a swipe at the Opposition, PM Modi highlighted the revocation of Article 370 in Parliament, emphasizing how it paved the way for the development of Jammu and Kashmir.
“We eliminated Article 370 from J&K. We passed the Women’s Reservation Bill. We removed laws from the colonial era. We’ve eliminated many obsolete laws,” he remarked. He went on to say, “I can sense the mood of the country. Lord Ram has not only returned home but to such a magnificent temple that it is certain ‘Abki baar 400 paar’ (This time 400 plus). Even Kharge ji (Mallikarjun Kharge) is affirming it. Not only will the NDA secure 400+ seats, but the BJP itself will secure 370 seats.”
