Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Sudarshan Setu,’ India’s longest cable-stayed bridge in Dwarka, Gujarat. The bridge connects Okha and Beyt Dwarka island, spanning 2.3 km and constructed at a cost of Rs 979 crore. Initially named the ‘Signature Bridge,’ it has been renamed ‘Sudarshan Setu,’ featuring a unique design with footpaths adorned with verses from the Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna.

Laid in October 2017, the bridge fulfills PM Modi’s vision of creating a link between old and new Dwarka. The four-lane structure, with a width of 27.20 meters and 2.50-meter footpaths on each side, stands as a testament to engineering excellence and aesthetic beauty.
