
Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam: Plantation Drive Organized Along Kishtwar NH to Promote Environmental Sustainability
A plantation drive was organized by the Forest Division Bhaderwah in collaboration with NHIDCL PMU Doda and M/S R&C Infraengineer Pvt. Limited along the Kishtwar National Highway at Gadssu.
The event aimed to promote environmental sustainability by encouraging tree planting in honor of mothers, symbolizing their nurturing and life-sustaining role.
Doda Police organises awareness program on new Criminal Laws at Town Hall Doda
The event was attended by ADDC Doda Pran Singh, Sandeep K. Mehta (SSP Doda), Deputy Director FPF M.S. Jamwal, DFO Mahesh Thakur, DFO Ayub Khan, and Forest Range Officer Suresh Kumar. District Information Officer Doda, Nasir Ahmed Khan, and DDC Councillor Manohar Lal also graced the occasion.
In alignment with the bond between motherhood and nature, and with a pledge to maintain a greener future, native saplings were planted to enhance the green cover. Such plantation drives are intended to reduce soil erosion and mitigate landslides.
The community participated in taking a pledge to maintain the harmony between nature and sustainability, reinforcing the commitment to long-term environmental conservation.
