Pathways.org Baby Milestones App Selected As A Good Housekeeping 2024 Parenting Award Winner
PATHWAYS.ORG BABY MILESTONES APP SELECTED AS A GOOD HOUSEKEEPING 2024 PARENTING AWARD WINNER
CHICAGO, Sept. 03, 2024 – Pathways.org announced today that the Pathways.org Baby Milestones App was named as a winner in Good Housekeeping’s 2024 Parenting Awards. The full list of awards can be found on goodhousekeeping.com/parenting2024.
The Pathways.org Baby Milestones App makes supporting baby’s development simpler than ever before! Through customized games, videos, milestone tracking and more, this FREE app helps parents and caregivers track and meet baby’s developmental milestones. Much like having a healthcare provider in your pocket, the app provides a wide variety of trusted resources approved by expert pediatric physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. All milestones within the app are supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) findings, making the app an easy-to-use, reliable tool for not only parents but hundreds of universities, hospitals, and healthcare providers worldwide.
In search of the best gear and services for babies, kids and caregivers, the experts in the Good Housekeeping Institute put hundreds of items through the wringer in their labs and with the help of over 200 parent testers. Analysts evaluated the products’ performance and durability in the GH Institute Labs, while parents weighed in on aspects such as ease of use, appearance, comfort and more. Winners were selected based on attributes like quality, innovation, convenience, safety and value.
Highlighted in the Support & Services category, Pathways.org Baby Milestones App is noted as the “accessible baby tracker” – a truly free resource for parents and caregivers. Good Housekeeping’s team of experts and at-home parent testers found it easy to navigate, with a clean interface and integrated access to Pathways’ YouTube channel. Users appreciated the evidence-based information and stage-specific tips offered by the app. Overall, it was praised as a valuable resource for engaging with a child’s development.
The goal of the Pathways.org Baby Milestones App is to provide a simple tool to track milestones and identify warning signs early, leveraging the rapid growth of a baby’s brain for optimal intervention. Babies form one million new neural connections per second and their development shouldn’t be a guessing game. Pathways.org is dedicated to early intervention (within the first three months) and implementing leading-edge assessment and treatment for infants and children, aiming to maximize their developmental potential by taking advantage of the plasticity of the infant brain. Every week, baby’s home screen is updated to recommend activities and resources to support baby’s development at the age and stage they’re in. Should a caregiver start to notice baby missing any milestones and/or abilities, caregivers have expert-backed information and actionable steps to contact and work in partnership with their healthcare provider and advocate for their baby’s development.
Since launching in 2022, the Pathways.org App has seen 70,000 baby profiles created, more than 1 million milestones completed, 229,000 games played and more than 9,000,000 minutes of Tummy Time logged. The app is available for download on both iOS and Android devices, and can be accessed free of charge with no paywalls.
