Parents Warned of Hazardous Student Swimming in Local Streams | GHSS Goha Marmat Issues Strict Notice
The Principal of Govt. Higher Secondary School Goha Marmat (Doda) has issued a notice addressing a growing safety concern. It has come to light that several students from the institution have been seen swimming in nearby streams and nallas after school hours.
This practice, as reported by local residents, poses serious risks to the students’ safety, including the possibility of neck, spine, and head injuries due to diving in shallow waters.
Despite repeated warnings and guidance from the school, many students continue to engage in this hazardous activity, ignoring the potential for grave consequences. The school administration is urging the public to assist in curbing this dangerous behavior.
Residents are requested to stop any students they find swimming in these water bodies, inform their parents, and alert the school authorities to prevent possible accidents.
Parents are specifically advised to closely monitor their children and ensure they desist from swimming in unsafe areas. The school has made it clear that any further negligence on the part of parents will result in them being held accountable for any unfortunate incidents.
Strict disciplinary measures will be taken against students found engaging in such activities, including the cancellation of their enrollment. The school also stated that any request for re-admission of students who are involved in these risky behaviors will not be considered.
The school emphasized that these actions are being taken purely in the interest of student welfare and safety. This notice serves as a strong reminder of the dangers involved and the shared responsibility in ensuring student safety.
