Pakistan team seals series 2-1 against Australia; creates history after 22 years
Pakistani cricket team on Sunday created a history, defeated mighty defending champion Australia in a 3 match-ODI series at Perth Stadium, Perth, Australia.
Historically after 22 years, Pakistan cricket team won the 2-1 series, after 22 years of gap. Earlier, on the day, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl. Australia were bundled out 140 runs, with the top scores of Aboot & Short.
For Pakistan, Shaheen & Nassem took a two wicket each, whereas Haris Rauf picked 2 crucial wickets.
Chasing down a defendable total, Pakistani openers, Saim Ayoob, & Abdullah Shafique played marvelously, and with fighting efforts of Babar & Rizwan, Pakistan won by 8 wickets.
This is the first time in 22 years, Pakistan has won a bilateral ODI series in Australia with great captaincy of Mohammad Rizwan.The Pakistan cricket team were given a big applauded by the supporters, and Pakistani spectators.
