
Outsourcing Introduced by Previous Regimes, Not by Omar-led Govt says Jammu Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo
Srinagar, June 21, 2026 [VoM News]: Responding to the criticism of outsourcing appointment, Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo defended the Govt’s approach and stated that the policy is not newly introduced the Omar-led govt as earlier governments had intruduced this.
On the sidelines of the International Yoga-Day celebrations at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre, Education Minister said that Omar Abdullah-led govt favours the regular recruitment and urges centre to provide funds for the permanent job creation.

She assured that the issue has been raised with the union govt and accuses opposition parties for creating the confusions.
She also stated that if any inquiry is needed regarding the outsourcing related issues, govt will not oppose as govt has nothing to hide.
