Odisha FC Set to Clash with ASEAN Zone Champions in AFC Cup Inter-Zone Semi-Final

Odisha FC, the Kalinga Warriors, emerged triumphant in the AFC Cup South Zone, securing their spot in the Inter-Zone Semi-Final for the 2023-24 season after a resounding victory over Bashundhara Kings in Group D’s final matchday.

In their maiden continental appearance, they’ve now been pitted against the ASEAN Zone Champions.

The identity of the ASEAN Zone Champions is yet to be determined as four teams remain in contention.

Among these, Central Coast Mariners FC and Phnom Penh Crown FC will battle it out in the first semi-final, while Macarthur FC and Sabah FC will face off in the other.

The victorious team from the ASEAN Zone final, scheduled for February 22, 2024, will proceed to challenge Odisha FC in the two-legged Inter-Zone Semi-Final.

The first leg, slated for March 6 or March 7, 2024, will be hosted by the ASEAN Zone Champion.

Odisha FC will host the return leg at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on March 13 or March 14.
