MVD Doda Conducts Enforcement Drive on National Highway 244
DODA APRIL 1 Team MVD Doda, under the leadership of ARTO Doda Er Rajesh Gupta, along with Robin Parihar MVI, Nitin Singh Amvi, Arahid Wani MVTA, and staff, executed an enforcement drive on National Highway 244. During the operation, the team meticulously inspected 280 vehicles.
The drive targeted violations of various provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, with particular emphasis on overloading, overcharging, exceeding seating capacity, and conducting breathalyzer tests. A total of 30 vehicles were found in breach of regulations and were promptly issued challans. Additionally, an on-the-spot compound amount of ₹7000 was realized.
During the enforcement drive conducted by MVD Doda on National Highway 244, a total of 30 vehicles were found in violation of various provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
The detailed breakdown of challans issued is as follows: 5 challans were issued under U/s 52/177, 5 challans under U/s 190, 1 challan under U/s 194(B), 7 challans under U/s 177, 4 challans for operating without Lakhanpur entry tax, 2 challans under U/s 113/194, 5 vehicles were seized, and 1 challan was issued for carrying goods on a passenger vehicle.
These measures underscore the commitment of MVD Doda to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic regulations.In addition to the enforcement drive, a special checkpoint was set up by the MVD Doda team under the supervision of ARTO Doda, Robin Parihar MVI, Nitin Parihar Amvi, and other dedicated staff members.
