Mohammed Shami rescues car accident victim near Nainital
Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami, renowned for his stellar performance in the recent ODI World Cup, emerged as a real-life hero by rescuing a car accident victim in Uttarakhand.
Shami took to Instagram to share his courageous act, posting a video of the aftermath of a car accident near Nainital, where he helped save a life. His post, which read “He’s so lucky god gave him 2nd life,” shows the seriousness of the accident and Shami’s timely intervention.
Shami’s Remarkable World Cup Journey
Despite a heart-wrenching defeat in the World Cup final against Australia, Shami’s contribution to the Indian team was noteworthy. He clinched 24 wickets in seven matches with an impressive average, but his inclusion in the playing XI only came after an injury to Hardik Pandya.
Record-Breaking Performances on the Field
Shami’s World Cup campaign was marked by extraordinary achievements, including a five-wicket haul in his very first match of the tournament and recording the best bowling figures by an Indian in a World Cup semifinal against New Zealand.
