Man Who Stabbed His Uncle To Death In Srinagar Arrested

Srinagar: A man has been arrested for stabbing his uncle to death during a fight in Hafta Yarbal locality of Srinagar’s Safakadal on Sunday morning even as further probe is going on, police said.

An official told that an altercation broke out between a butcher namely Irfan Ahmad Ganie and his uncle Nisar Ahmad Ganie, and Irfan’s another uncle Fayaz Ahmad Ganie – the victim – tried to intervene but was stabbed by Irfan.

He said that soon after the incident the victim was rushed to SMHS hospital, however, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
