Mamata Banerjee Stands Firm on Secularism and Democracy
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reaffirmed her commitment to secularism and democracy, asserting her inability to accept any denouncement of these principles. Speaking at ‘The Telegraph’ national debate, Banerjee criticized the perceived erosion of federalism in India, claiming that states were not receiving their due share of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
