Major Traffic Crackdown in Doda District Yields Rs 898,700 in Fines and Suspends Licenses
Under the supervision of ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, and with the coordination of MVD staff, a comprehensive operation was initiated across multiple locations within the Doda district.
The MVD team strategically focused on areas notorious for rampant traffic violations, implementing a rigorous crackdown. A total of 356 challans were issued, accompanied by 91 compounds, resulting in a substantial revenue collection of Rs 898,700.
This operation not only aimed at imposing penalties on violators but also sought to convey a powerful message about the significance of adhering to traffic regulations.
Throughout the operation, the MVD department took decisive actions, including the cancellation and suspension of nine driving licenses. Strict notices were issued against irregular Registration Certificates (R/C) and Driver’s Licenses (D/L).
The team’s prompt response was evident in their visits to crucial areas such as NH 244, Gandoh, Gawari, Thathri, Ghat, Bhart Road, Udhyanpur, and Dessa. Challans were issued for various traffic violations, underscoring the commitment to upholding road safety standards in the district.
