Doda, April 17 – In a significant stride towards enhancing healthcare accessibility in the region, the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, today inaugurated a week-long Mega Surgical Camp at the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, Doda.
The initiative, a collaborative effort between Rotary International and the District Administration Doda, is poised to deliver crucial surgical interventions to underserved communities.
The camp has mobilized a dedicated team of accomplished surgeons and medical professionals who will undertake a range of surgical procedures over the next seven days.
This concerted effort is expected to positively impact the lives of hundreds of patients across the district, providing them with much-needed quality surgical care closer to their homes.
The initiative has garnered widespread appreciation for its commitment to making essential healthcare services both accessible and affordable for all.
Following the inauguration, Lieutenant Governor Sinha also toured an exhibition showcasing best practices implemented by various departments within District Doda. Notably, the School Education Department (SED), under the guidance of Chief Education Officer Doda Mr. Mohammad Hafiz, presented a compelling display of innovative practices being adopted across schools in the district. Expressing his appreciation for the commendable work being carried out, Lieutenant Governor Sinha lauded the dedication and commitment of the various departments and educators in their pursuit of excellence.
