
LeT Terror Module Uncovered in Jammu and Kashmir; Two Terrorists Arrested. Image/NDTV
In a significant operation, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district have successfully unearthed a terror module affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). This operation resulted in the arrest of two terrorist associates of the LeT outfit in the Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Recovery of Arms and Ammunition
During the operation, law enforcement authorities recovered incriminating material, including two pistols and five hand grenades, from the possession of the arrested individuals. This development underscores the continuing efforts of security forces to maintain peace and security in the region.
Legal Action Initiated
A case has been registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UA (P)) and Arms Act. The investigation is ongoing, and further actions will be taken based on the findings.
