KAW Veloce Motors Partners with Brixton Motorcycles to Enter Indian Market

KAW Veloce Motors Pvt. Ltd., India, part of the KAW Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Brixton Motorcycles Austria, a brand under the Austrian family business KSR Group GmbH. This collaboration aims to meet India’s growing demand for unique, high-quality two-wheelers, leveraging the extensive experience and strong family legacies of both companies in manufacturing and retail.

Recognizing India’s status as one of the largest motorcycle markets globally, the partnership is set to introduce four Brixton models by the upcoming festive season: Crossfire 500X, Crossfire 500XC, Cromwell 1200, and Cromwell 1200X. These models will feature retro-inspired designs, affordability, urban riding suitability, and customization potential.

The partnership has outlined a two-phase expansion plan. In phase one, a manufacturing facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, will be established with an annual production capacity of over 40,000 units. Phase two will involve joint product development specifically for the Indian market at Brixton’s Austria Design Center and expanded manufacturing capabilities.

Key cities for initial launches include Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. Enthusiasts can also look forward to the global launch of the Storr 500 adventure touring bike in November, which will follow in India.

Founded in 1962, the KAW Group has been a cornerstone of the manufacturing industry. KAW Veloce Motors, spearheaded by Mr. Tushar Shelke, aims to introduce renowned global two-wheeler brands to India, starting with Brixton Motorcycles. Brixton Motorcycles, part of KSR Group GmbH, is known for producing affordable, stylish motorcycles inspired by classic designs and integrated with modern technology.
