Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and senior Congress leader, Kamal Nath, embarked on the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi on Saturday. The yatra, a significant initiative to connect with the masses, is currently making its way through Madhya Pradesh. Nath expressed his commitment to dedicating five days to the yatra, emphasizing its importance as a medium to engage with the people.
Meanwhile, responding to questions about Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeting the Congress party, Kamal Nath dismissed the criticism, stating, “Others will attack as they don’t have anything to say about themselves.” The seasoned leader highlighted the significance of the yatra in fostering a direct connection between political leaders and the public.

Adding familial support to the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Kamal Nath’s son and Member of Parliament (MP) from Chhindwara Lok Sabha constituency, Nakulnath, accompanied his father in the journey. The presence of the veteran leader’s son underscored the unity within the party as they actively participate in this nationwide initiative.

After a brief hiatus of five days, the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ recommenced its journey at 2 pm from Dholpur in Rajasthan. The yatra entered Madhya Pradesh through Morena district at around 3 pm, marking the continuation of its 6,700 km journey through 15 states. Congress General Secretary in-charge Communications, Jairam Ramesh, shared insights, stating that the yatra would stay in the state until March 6. Highlighting the support received from the public, Ramesh mentioned Rahul Gandhi’s planned visit to Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on March 5, followed by the yatra entering Gujarat on March 7.
