JD(U) Leader Confirms Stability in INDIA Bloc Amid Political Turmoil in Bihar
Amidst the political turbulence triggered by RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, JD(U) leader KC Tyagi reassured that the INDIA bloc alliance remains intact. Responding to queries, Tyagi stated, “INDIA gathbandhan (alliance) salamat hai (INDIA bloc is safe). Everything is fine with the alliance.”
Dynastic Politics Debate and Clarification
The clarification comes after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar criticized dynastic politics on Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur’s birth centenary. Tyagi further addressed Rohini Acharya’s deleted tweet, emphasizing that comments from children are not subject to their response.
Karpoori Thakur’s Posthumous Bharat Ratna Award
Karpoori Thakur, a significant figure in Bihar politics, was posthumously awarded Bharat Ratna. Born in 1924, he played a pivotal role in addressing social discrimination and inequality, serving as the Chief Minister of Bihar.
