Jammu-Srinagar Highway Traffic Halted for Maintenance
The Jammu-Srinagar highway experienced a temporary suspension of traffic movement on Monday as road maintenance activities were underway at Dalwas, according to officials.
A Traffic Police representative mentioned, “Traffic has been temporarily stopped from both directions at Dalwas on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway due to ongoing road maintenance. Commuters are urged to cooperate with the Traffic Police during this period.”
Over the past few days, continuous snowfall in the Kashmir Valley has significantly disrupted daily life, leading to the cancellation of all flights at Srinagar airport on Sunday.
