Jammu Police Foils Bovine Smuggling Bid; 04 bovines rescued, Vehicle Seized

Jammu 13-04-2025: Jammu Police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli has foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 04 bovines were rescued from a vehicle Mahindra bearing registration number No. JK19A/3092 at naka point Panjal the driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot. Four bovines were rescued and vehicle seized.

In this regard, a case FIR No. 52/2025 U/S 223/11 PCA Act has been registered in Police Station Jhajjar Kotli. Further investigation is underway.

General public have appreciated the continuous and strict actions of police against Bovine smugglers.
