
J-k Govt Organizes Cyber Crime Training for Officers
Jammu, February 14, 2025 – The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has taken a proactive step in combating the challenges of cyber crime by organizing a one-day training program titled “Recent Trends in Cyber Crime: Challenges, Impact, and Prevention.” This initiative, hosted by the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), J&K Regional Branch, underscores the administration’s commitment to equipping its officers with the knowledge and tools needed to tackle the evolving cyber crime landscape.

According to Government Order No. 462-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued on February 14, a diverse group of officers from various departments has been nominated to attend the training. The program aims to address the pressing issues of cyber crime, its societal impacts, and preventive measures through an intensive knowledge-sharing session.
The list of nominated officers includes individuals from departments such as health, education, law enforcement, agriculture, and consumer affairs. These professionals will delve into critical aspects of cyber security, enhancing their ability to safeguard sensitive information and mitigate risks in their respective domains.
