
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC Vows Relentless Offensive Until ‘Enemy Is Decisively Defeated’
Iran’s powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared that its military campaign will continue “until the enemy is decisively defeated,” signaling a sharp escalation in tensions across the Middle East.
In a statement, the IRGC claimed that Israeli and US military targets in the region have been struck “by the powerful blows of Iranian missiles.” The Guards warned that the operation would not stop, describing it as a sustained response to recent strikes on Iranian territory.
“All US assets throughout the region are considered legitimate targets,” the statement added, broadening the scope of potential confrontation and raising fears of further escalation involving American forces.
Middle East Tensions Escalate as Iran, Israel, US Exchange Strikes; Gulf States on High Alert
Meanwhile, there are reports that US President Donald Trump could soon deliver an address to the nation. Officials have not yet confirmed the timing, but preparations are reportedly under way as Washington monitors the rapidly evolving situation.
European leaders have urged restraint amid growing alarm. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa said developments in Iran are “greatly concerning.”
In a joint statement, they called on all parties to exercise “maximum restraint,” protect civilians and respect international law. The EU leaders also said they are coordinating with member states to ensure European citizens in the region receive full support.
Qatar Condemns Missile Attack, Reserves Right to Respond
In a significant regional development, Qatar has condemned what it described as an Iranian ballistic missile attack targeting its territory.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said the strike represented a “flagrant violation” of its sovereignty and a direct assault on its national security. The statement called the attack an unacceptable escalation that threatens wider regional stability.
Doha said it reserves the right to respond in accordance with international law, adding to mounting concerns that the conflict could widen beyond the immediate parties involved.
With military threats expanding and diplomatic appeals intensifying, the situation remains highly volatile, with the potential for further regional fallout.
