A recent leak from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo hinted at a new iQoo smartphone equipped with a 1.49-inch Sony IMX920 50-megapixel primary rear camera sensor. Although the specific model wasn’t named, it is speculated to be part of the iQoo Neo 9 series, considering the company’s product launch cycle.

Expected Release and Specifications

A report from GSMChina suggests that the iQoo Neo 9 series could debut in the first quarter of 2024. The base iQoo Neo 9 model is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, with configurations up to 16GB RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. The iQoo Neo 9 Pro, on the other hand, might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
