India’s Path to 2047: Amit Shah Unveils Modi’s Decade of Achievements and Political Realities
Modi’s Vision for 2047
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing the Karyakarta Sammelan in Jaipur, emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s central mission is to transform India into a developed country by 2047. Shah acknowledged the foundation laid by PM Modi in the last decade and highlighted the government’s commitment to national development. Simultaneously, he drew attention to the INDI alliance’s focus on nurturing the political careers of party leaders’ heirs.
Political Ambitions in the INDI Bloc
Shah delved into the dynamics of the INDI bloc, pointing out instances where leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Lalu Yadav, Uddhav Thackrey, and MK Stalin harbor ambitions for their successors in key political positions. He underscored the contrast between BJP’s vision of “Sarvapratham Bharat” and the INDI alliance’s focus on dynastic politics.
A Decade of Achievements
Listing the achievements of the Modi government, Shah highlighted milestones such as the swift approval of the One Rank One Pension scheme, the abrogation of Article 370, and the re-opening of cinema halls in Jammu and Kashmir after 30 years. He emphasized the government’s effective response to security challenges, citing incidents like Pulwama and Uri.
Transformative Policies Under Modi’s Leadership
Shah outlined transformative policies introduced by the Modi government, including the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), abolition of Triple Talaq, implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand, and initiatives ensuring peace in Kashmir and northeastern states. He praised the government’s handling of the Covid pandemic, highlighting India’s role as a global leader in vaccine production and distribution.
In his closing remarks, Shah reflected on the country’s progress under PM Modi’s leadership, citing instances of decisive actions against terrorism, economic welfare measures, and the Prime Minister’s steadfast dedication without taking a leave in the last 23 years. The home minister concluded by pointing out key socio-economic achievements, including food grain distribution, sanitation facilities, LPG connections, housing initiatives, and accessible medical facilities, portraying a comprehensive picture of the transformative changes under the present government’s tenure.
