Indian Army Organizes Tailoring & Stitching Course in Bhaderwah under Project Sadbhavana
Doda 15 July, 2024 :- Under the banner of Project Sadbhavana, the Indian Army’s Rashtriya Rifles stationed in Bhaderwah has initiated a Tailoring & Stitching Course starting from July 15, 2024.
The month-long course aims to empower economically disadvantaged women from nearby villages by equipping them with essential tailoring and stitching skills.
This initiative not only seeks to enhance their employability but also encourages self-employment, thereby contributing to local economic development.
A significant number of women have already enrolled in the program, reflecting strong community interest and support.
The Commanding Officer of Rashtriya Rifles emphasized the importance of such skill-building initiatives in reducing unemployment and promoting financial independence among women.
He encouraged participants to make the most of the training opportunities provided, underscoring their potential to secure dignified livelihoods and improve their overall standard of living.
This initiative is part of the Indian Army’s broader commitment to community engagement and development under Project Sadbhavana.
By fostering skill development and entrepreneurship among women, the program aims to create a positive impact on local communities, aligning with national goals of skill generation and employment promotion.
Through these efforts, the Indian Army continues to play a pivotal role in fostering socio-economic empowerment and stability in the region.
