In an emphatic display of dominance, India secured a resounding victory over England by a commanding margin of 347 runs in the solitary women’s Test held on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
India posted an imposing total of 428 in their first innings, while subsequently dismissing England for a mere 136 runs. Despite having the option to enforce the follow-on, India opted to bat again and declared their second innings at 186 for 6, establishing a formidable target of 479 runs for England.

The Indian bowlers continued to assert their supremacy, delivering a stellar performance by bowling out England for just 131 runs in their second innings during the initial session of the third day.
Deepti Sharma, who had already showcased her prowess with five wickets in the first innings, emerged as the tormentor once again, concluding with remarkable figures of 4/32 in England’s second outing.
