Illegal Mining In Samba; Police Seized 04 Vehicles Used For Illegal Transportation Of Construction Material

Samba, April 12, 2025: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized four vehicles including two dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Bari Brahmana and Vijaypur which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.

Police teams headed by SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana and SHO Police Station Vijaypur while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized four vehicles including two dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21J-8799, JK21J-5799 and two tractor trolleys without registration Nos. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.

The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
