Illegal Mining in Samba; 4 Vehicles Seized

Samba, April 17, 2025: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized four vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Purmandal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.

Police teams headed by SHO Police Station Samba, Incharge Police Post Utterbehani of PS Purmandal and Incharge Police Post Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized four vehicles including two dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK08P- 9561, JK19-6281, one tractor trolley having Chasis No. MBNCA 49AJRTD15019 and one tractor trolley without registration No. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.

Bovine Smuggling Bid Foiled By Jammu Police in RS Pura area; Vehicle Seized

The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
