Honor has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the Honor X50i+ in China. This new model joins the previously released Honor X50i series, which debuted in April earlier this year. While retaining some core features of the original Honor X50i, the Honor X50i+ introduces significant upgrades in terms of chipset and camera capabilities, offering enhanced performance and functionality to users.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor X50i+ is available in two storage configurations. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 18,600), and the higher-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is listed at CNY 1,799 (around Rs 20,900). Customers can purchase the phone via the Honor China website, with four color options to choose from: Cloud Water Blue, Fantasy Night Black, Ink Jade Green, and Liquid Pink.

Advanced Specifications and Features

The Honor X50i+ sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display, boasting a 90Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Running on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, coupled with 12GB of RAM. It offers up to 512GB of inbuilt storage.

Camera and Battery Enhancements

A major highlight of the Honor X50i+ is its camera setup, featuring a dual rear camera system with a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera module, including a circular LED flash, is elegantly placed on the back panel. The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel front camera.

The device is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery, supporting 35W wired fast charging, ensuring quick and efficient power-ups.

Connectivity and Security

In terms of connectivity, the Honor X50i+ supports 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, OTG, and various satellite navigation systems, including GPS, AGPS, Clonass, Beidou, and Galileo. The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

Weighing 166 grams, the Honor X50i+ has a sleek design with dimensions of 161.05mm x 74.55mm x 6.78mm, making it both stylish and comfortable to handle.
