Heer Aasmani Takes Flight: Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Cast Ready for Aerial Action in Fighter Song
Following the release of the songs “Sher Khul Gaye” and “Ishq Jaisa Kuch,” the creators of Siddharth Anand’s highly anticipated aerial action film, “Fighter,” have now unveiled the latest track titled “Heer Aasmani.” The song features the film’s lead stars, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Anil Kapoor. “Heer Aasmani” serves as a tribute to air force pilots, portraying Hrithik and Deepika donning air force uniforms and preparing for take-off. The visual narrative briefly delves into the camaraderie between Hrithik, Deepika, Karan, and Akshay, with Anil Kapoor seen in a more serious demeanor, overseeing their training. The musical composition by Vishal-Shekhar, vocals by B Praak, and lyrics by Kumaar enhance the overall impact of the song.
Siddharth Anand, the director, shares insights into the track, stating, “Heer Aasmani is dedicated to the special squad of Air Dragons coming together. The song captures the bonding within the crew, from briefing and training sessions to their moments of relaxation. Its theme revolves around an air force pilot expressing unwavering love for the skies and their passion—a love so pure that it remains incomprehensible to those on the ground.” Anand further describes the song’s unique flavor, combining modern presentation with rustic vocals. The director’s vision of a modern yet soulful composition is realized through the collaboration of musical elements, resulting in an unexpected synergy.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, “Fighter” promises an exhilarating dose of high-octane action. The film recently unveiled an official teaser that garnered positive responses from fans. The teaser, running for 1 minute and 14 seconds, introduces Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, all fighting for their country. While Karan was absent from the teaser, it showcased the lead cast engaging in aerial stunts and flying high in their jets. Additionally, glimpses of a party track and a passionate kissing scene between Hrithik and Deepika were teased. The teaser concluded on a patriotic note with the tune of “Sujlam Suflam” playing as Hrithik unfurls the Tricolour from his aircraft.
“Fighter” is predominantly filmed at Indian air bases, featuring real Sukhoi fighter planes. The film is set to hit theaters on January 25, promising an adrenaline-packed cinematic experience.
