Qazigund, the gateway town of Kashmir, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 2.0°C, mirroring the previous night’s figures and standing 1.9°C below the seasonal norm. Pahalgam, the renowned resort in south Kashmir, faced a low of minus 5.4°C, 1.0°C below the usual for this locale. Kokernag in south Kashmir registered a minimum of minus 0.2°C, maintaining consistency with the previous night and standing 1.1°C above the normal for the area. In north Kashmir, Kupwara town faced a low of minus 3.3°C, presenting a 3.1°C deviation below the seasonal average.
Gulmarg’s Unique Temperature Dynamics
The world-famous skiing resort, Gulmarg, recorded a low of minus 3.2°C, revealing a notable change from the previous night’s minus 4.2°C. The temperature here was 3.6°C above the normal, showcasing unique weather dynamics in this iconic location.
