Amidst a glistening snowy veil, the fourth day of the Vibrant Bhaderwah Festival unfolded at Guldanda, casting its spell on tourists flocking from every corner of India.
A collaborative effort between the Tourism Department, District Administration, and the Academy of Art, Culture, and Language orchestrated the event’s success.
Under the sun’s radiant glow, Guldanda metamorphosed into a vibrant center of entertainment, offering an array of activities including musical performances, snow cycling, sledging, and an assortment of delectable food stalls.
The festival’s lively ambiance drew visitors from diverse states, witnessing an interplay of traditional dances from both locals and visitors.
The Bhaderwah Festival showcased the region’s traditional mountain festivities, presenting cultural displays, local culinary delights, and an array of outdoor sports.
From indigenous sports to thrilling winter activities like skating, skiing, sledging, zip-lining, zorbing, and paragliding, the festival showcased the Chenab Valley’s winter allure, enriching tourists’ experiences and celebrating the area’s cultural heritage.
Within the broader Vibrant Bhaderwah Festival, the Guldanda Snow Festival emerged as a mesmerizing showcase of winter marvels.
The snow-clad landscape provided a picturesque canvas for a blend of winter sports, cultural revelries, and local gastronomy, solidifying Guldanda’s reputation as an enchanting winter retreat.
Cultural performances featuring artists from Gujarat and esteemed UT celebrities like Saras Bharti, Shaib Kandoo, and Zulaikha Fareed enraptured the audience with traditional Gorjari folk songs and captivating dance routines.
Local artists also contributed with folk performances, delighting both tourists and locals alike. From fun games, adventures, local showcases to cultural engagements, the event celebrated Bhaderwah’s traditions, offering a delectable taste of local cuisine through stalls showcasing Bhaderwahi thali and regional dishes.
