
GMC Doda Organises Awareness Programme on New Criminal Laws
Doda, 12 March 2025: Govt. Medical College (GMC) Doda, in collaboration with the District Police Doda, successfully conducted an Awareness Programme on New Criminal Laws to educate students and faculty about recent legal reforms.
The event commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Rakesh Bahl, Principal, GMC Doda, who emphasized the importance of legal awareness in shaping responsible medical professionals. He highlighted the need for understanding legal frameworks, particularly in healthcare, to ensure ethical and lawful medical practice.
Following this, Mr. Shakeel Rehman Bhat, Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Doda, delivered an insightful lecture on the new criminal laws. His session provided an in-depth analysis of the key amendments, their implications on law enforcement, and their broader impact on society. He engaged with the audience, addressing queries and clarifying legal nuances to enhance understanding.
