Georgia Coughlin Leads Fidelity ADT Ladies Challenge; Tvesa Malik Starts at T-37
In the opening round of the Fidelity ADT Ladies Challenge at Blue Valley Golf Estate, Tvesa Malik, the recent winner in the Sunshine Tour, started with a 2-over 74, securing the T-37 position. Meanwhile, English golfer Georgia Coughlin took the lead with an impressive 4-under 68, sharing the top spot with Sweden’s Ellen Hutchinson-Kay and South Africa’s Kiera Floyd.
Challenging Start for Tvesa Malik
Starting from the 10th, Tvesa faced challenges with three bogeys in the initial seven holes on the 11th, 13th, and 16th. A birdie on the 18th, her ninth hole, helped her turn in with a 2-over 38. Despite securing multiple wins on the Women’s Pro Golf Tour, Tvesa encountered a mixed round, balancing a birdie on the third with a dropped shot on the ninth.
Debut of ADT Ladies Challenge on Sunshine Ladies Tour
The ADT Ladies Challenge marked its debut on the Sunshine Ladies Tour, contributing to an eight-tournament schedule. The tournament has seen strong performances, with Scotland’s Kylie Henry winning the Dimension Data Ladies Pro-Am, and India’s Tvesa Malik securing victory in the SuperSport Ladies Challenge presented by Sun International at the Lost City.

Alongside the leaders, six players – Hannah Arnold, Pasqualle Coffa, Vanessa Knecht, Carolin Kaufmann, Elena Hualde, and Romy Meekers – shot impressive 3-under 69 rounds, positioning themselves tied for fourth.
