Dense fog and cold weather conditions continue to disrupt train services to and from Delhi, causing delays of up to eight hours or more for around 24 long-distance trains, as reported by Northern Railways. The challenging visibility conditions affected trains such as Gaya-New Delhi Mahabodhi Express (12397), Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express (12801), Katihar-Amritsar Express (15707), and others. The severe fog led to low visibility in various areas of the city, including Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh Road, Anand Vihar, and India Gate.

- Safdarjung recorded a minimum temperature of 4.4 degrees Celsius, and the visibility at Safdarjung was 50 meters at 5:30 am.
- Weather Forecast:
- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts dense fog in the city on Republic Day, with the minimum temperature remaining at 7 degrees Celsius.
- Cold Wave Conditions:
- Cold day to severe cold day conditions prevailed in many parts of Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.
- Some areas in West UP, Haryana, Chandigarh, and northwest Rajasthan experienced cold day conditions.
- Isolated pockets of Delhi and southwest Madhya Pradesh observed cold day conditions.
