Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy confirmed that all preparations have been finalized for the water release to 77 tanks in Kurnool. This initiative aims to provide much-needed relief to the western mandals of Kurnool district, addressing their water scarcity issues.

During his review of the arrangements made for Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s upcoming visit to the district, Minister Reddy emphasized that Jagan will inaugurate the release of water from the Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) project into these tanks. This action will greatly benefit 57 villages within the Pattikonda, Dhone, Aluru, and Panyam Assembly segments.

Minister Reddy pointed out that this visit marks Chief Minister Jagan’s first appearance in the Dhone Assembly constituency, highlighting its significance. He urged all program stakeholders to collaborate in ensuring the success of this endeavor. Following the water release from the Alamkonda pump station in Lakkasagaram of the Krishnagiri mandal, Chief Minister Jagan will address a public gathering in Dhone.
