    Eight Ministers, Ex-PM Manmohan, and BJP President Among 58 MPs Set to Retire by May

    A total of 58 members of the Rajya Sabha, including eight Central Ministers, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national President JP Nadda, are set to retire by the first week of May this year.

    The eight ministers, namely Mansukh Mandaviya, Bhupender Yadav, Parshottam Rupala, Dharmendra Pradhan, V Murleedharan, Narayan Rane, Rajeev Chandrashekhar, and Ashwini Vaishnaw, along with 47 other MPs, including Manmohan Singh and Nadda, will retire by April 2-3.

    Among the 58 MPs, one is scheduled to retire on February 23, 55 by April 2-3, and the remaining two, including Congress MP Dhiraj Prasad Sahu, who is facing summons from the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case following the seizure of Rs 351.8 crore cash from his premises by the Income Tax Department months ago, will retire by May 3.
