Education Zone Assar Hosts Rally for a Substance-Free India
Assar’s Education Zone took a significant step towards fostering a drug-free society by organizing the Nasha Mukt Bharat rally in Doda on January 16.
The event, held at Government Higher Secondary School Assar and overseen by School Principal and DDO Assar, Sanjeev K Badyal, drew the participation of more than 40 students and staff from Cluster Baggar.
The rally kicked off at GHSS Assar, with students carrying banners, placards, and charts adorned with Nasha Mukt slogans and quotes. The procession traversed through the village, market area, and streets of Village Assar, where students passionately chanted slogans, establishing a meaningful connection with the local community.
The active engagement of both students and staff was palpable, showcasing their dedication to raising awareness about the detrimental effects of substance abuse. The initiative aimed not only to impart knowledge but also to emotionally connect with the general public, fostering a shared commitment to a drug-free society. The rally served as a poignant reminder of the community’s resolve to combat the menace of drug addiction, working together to build a healthier future for the Assar Zone in Doda.
