
ABSCONDER HELD BY DODA POLICE WHO WAS EVADING ARREST FOR THE LAST 11 YEARS
Continuing its drive to arrest absconders /wanted criminals, Doda Police has arrested one absconder, who was evading arrest for the last 11 years.
While giving details, Police said that one absconder namely Om Raj son of Jagdish Raj resident of Chill Assar was involved in case FIR No. 243/2013 U/S 457/380/201 RPC, registered against him at Police Station Doda.
He was declared as absconder by the Hon’ble Court and warrant under Section 512 CrPC was issued against him but he was evading arrest since 2013. A massive hunt was launched and also sources were cultivated for generating information about the absconder and to track him.
Ultimately, a Police team was constituted at Police Station Doda under the supervision of Inspector Padam Dev Singh SHO PS Doda, Shri Ajay Anand Dy.SP Hqrs Doda and overall supervision of Shri Javaid Iqbal-JKPS SSP Doda and the team after generating input besides getting technical lead finally tracked down the absconder and arrested him from Bhalla Bhaderwah and the absconder will be produced in the Court of law.
