
DIET Doda Organizes Science Model Exhibition Under PM SHRI Scheme 2024-25
Doda, March 24– The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Doda successfully hosted a Science Model Exhibition under the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) Scheme for the academic year 2024-25. This event saw the active participation of 19 out of 25 PM SHRI schools from the region, showcasing a strong commitment to fostering scientific innovation and practical learning.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Mr. Mohammad Hafiz, Chief Education Officer Doda, along with the Principal DIET Doda, Mr. Dharmender Kumar. The event aimed to inspire students to engage in creative scientific exploration and model-making, which are key components of their academic and personal development.
During the exhibition, schools were recognized for their outstanding contributions at both the secondary and elementary levels. In the secondary category, the first position was awarded to HS Bulandpur, followed by HS Kuddhar in second place, and HS Kahara securing third place. At the elementary level, HS Bulandpur again claimed the top spot, with GMS Mandir Bhaderwah and UPS Dadi Kathawa taking the second and third positions, respectively.
The exhibition, coordinated by Zakir Hussain Natnoo, Senior Lecturer at DIET Doda, was praised for its organization and the remarkable efforts of participating students and teachers. Natnoo highlighted the importance of such hands-on activities in promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students, noting that these events contribute significantly to their holistic development.
The success of the exhibition underscores DIET Doda’s commitment to nurturing scientific curiosity and innovation under the PM SHRI Scheme, providing students with the tools to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world.
