In anticipation of a protest march called by farmers, Delhi Police has issued an order prohibiting public gatherings at all borders between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the entry of tractors, trolleys, buses, trucks, and commercial vehicles from Uttar Pradesh into the National Capital has been barred during this period.

Strict Regulations on Arms Possession for Protestors

Under this order, protestors are prohibited from carrying arms, including firearms, swords, trishuls, spears, rods, etc. The move comes as a preventive measure to avoid any untoward incidents and ensure the safety of lives and property in the region. The order, issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, North East District, Delhi, is a precautionary step to address the potential challenges associated with the upcoming protest.
