
Delhi Building Collapse: 4 Killed, Many Injured as Rescue Operations Continues
NEW DELHI, MAY 31, 2026 [VoM News]: Four people have lost their lives after a five-storey building collapsed near a Delhi Metro station in South Delhi, as per media reports.
Reports said construction work was underway on the upper floor when the structure suddenly collapsed.
As per details available with VoM News, more than 10 persons had been rescued till the filing of this report, while rescue teams continued operations to locate those trapped under the debris.

The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for medical aid.
Heavy machinery, hydraulic cutters, victim-location cameras and sniffer dogs were deployed to search through the rubble.
Meanwhile, a criminal case has been registered at Mehrauli Police Station, while a magisterial inquiry led by the South District Magistrate has also been ordered, as per the Chief Minister’s Office.
